It was an honour to do a mini documentary series with Grande Prairie's Sunrise House. This charity is a place for troubled and abused youth can find sanctuary from their chaotic lives. We helped shed light on what all the Grande Prairie Sunrise House does and how they impact the youth and community that they serve.
We are very excited to show you our final video of the Grande Prairie Friendship Centre. The GPFC has been in Grande Prairie since 1965 throughout the years there have been many changes and a lot of growth. Through the dedication of many team members including our staff, Board of Directors, partnerships and funders we are fortunate to have built a solid foundation in the community. We hope you enjoy our final video as much as we enjoy sharing it with you.
Thank you Andrea Deleeuw for working on the script outline to make this video possible and Delaine Lambert-English for all the background work you did for this Video series. Thank you to all the Program Directors for working with our staff and for Miranda Laroche; without you this would not have been possible.
YMCA Strong Kids
We had a great time filming this video for YMCA of Grande Prairie. The YMCA Strong Kids Program is an initiative to let kids be kids and have fun regardless of parents working long hours or financial issues. This program gives many opportunities to the community of Grande Prairie. Thanks to, Lionel Robins and Raphael Bohlmann for the work you do to make this program possible.
The Grande Prairie Friendship Centre presents the annual Spirit Seekers Youth Conference! An event where youth from all over the country can come to learn about their culture, and become the bridge between the indigenous and non-indigenous peoples of Canada.
